It was back in the stone age during grad school that we met. We traveled a little and eventually we moved house. A lot. We have lived in many, many places. In fact I moved myself, and then later, I organized and set up our family over 30 times; while working in business and in teaching before and after our kids were young.
I saw amazing productivity systems while employed at Ochsner Medical Foundation, Henry Ford Hospital, and The Mayo Clinic where I did registrar work as a liaison for 26 medical departments, helped move and organize two medical labs, and volunteered by assisting MD's with grant proofreading using Advanced ESL.

But it was during my time traveling and my time in education where I saw amazing inequities. My volunteering, interning, and teaching time was spent in underfunded schools. Some things were worse than in my rural upbringing and others were gloriously better. It taught me so much! I saw firsthand what it was like to literally not have a voice with the language and cultural barriers I encountered. But I always felt there wasn't a lot I could do about it. Until now.

Finally I have found a way to pay it forward that I love and it helps others do the same thing exponentially.
